Well the high winds are really battering the coasts especially in the areas where I fish most the English channel Portland, Weymouth and Poole area. I use this link to check wind and sea conditions and so do many of the skippers.

I am booked out for a trip next week on Weds 11th and the projection looks really really good for a change so can get prepared this weekend ready for the first outing of 2012. Obviously conditions change but from past experience this weather predictions on XCweather have been pretty accurate but still have to wait for the final word from the skippers to stay safe.
