Have a wrecking trip planned this Saturday, mid channel out of Weymouth. Weather looking good so all fingers crossed it happens, just me and a friend who hasn’t enjoyed wrecking before so that will be an eye opener for him especially if we get into large cod or pollack. Going to be taking a range of lures so will run through those soon as I have them ready to pack. I am going to carry on testing the Xtra Flexx boat rod too as I have only used it once on a bass and turbot trip so some good heavy cod and pollack will give it a beasting hopefully….To be continued.
